Living the Gospel

A well-attended Living the Gospel afternoon took place at Edmund Rice House, North Richmond Street, Dublin 1 on Sunday, March 6th. Brothers, parishioners, young people from Edmund Rice Camps and from the local St Agatha’s parish were present. Refreshments were provided by the Brothers Community assisted by the Edmund Rice Camp leaders present. The meeting was facilitated and hosted by Brother Pat Madigan cfc, the local community leader.

Brother Dominic Sassi cfc offered a presentation on the contemporary understanding of Jesus. It was followed by reflection time and some discussion.

Brother Martin O’Flaherty cfc facilitated the feedback from the reflections and the feedback.

A high point of the afternoon was the testimony of two young people, Anatoly and Adriana, both Brazilians who work in retreat ministry. They also help out in the parish. They inspired everyone present by their evident faith and commitment to evangelisation.

The afternoon concluded with a meditation by Brother Seanie Beckett cfc.

All present were delighted with the afternoon. It is hoped to provide similar gatherings again in the future. Keep watching this space!
